Here I am again, hunting for room…. It is a tedious process and it seems to be my annual practice. I would need to see location, rental rate, include/exclude air cond, whether cooking is allowed, the profile of owner etc. I have no other choice, the current owner need to sell the flat unit that I am staying now.
Bad experience with first land lady in singapore and experienced the noisiness of karaoke/Chinese ritual of the neighborhood of Stirling Road (Queenstown), leave me be more careful on staying with owner…
Well, trying to search a room along Jalan Bukit Merah. Too used to shopping at Tiong Bahru Plaza, and the convenient way to travel to my current office via bus no. 961 along Jalan Bukit Merah. I have also commited to gym/yoga classes at Raffles place and sign up for manicure/pedicure course at Tiong Bahru Plaza… sigh, really regretted on the manicure and pedicure courses…. It is such a waste…. But most importantly, I have to leave this place that is so near to him. Sigh…
Also, in dilemma, whether to share with my existing housemate for a unit at Henderson Cres, which is slightly above my budget. But, good thing is… no owner and quiet housemates. Cons, not near eatery centre, and it is not along jalan bukit merah. Also need to consider additional cost to incur to maintain a house that is without owner, plus, need to move out in one year’s time….so sien.
Like what Dale Carnegie, to conquer worry, is to find out more before making decision. So, looks like I need to look for more room before deciding on getting one room or share with my existing housemates.
